All Pilates classes are currently beginner level and suitable for all ages and fitness levels. Classes are mat based with exercises taking place in standing, sitting and lying down. Clear and detailed instructions are given in the first class to ensure you have the correct activation of your core. Exercises can be tailed to suit any old or new injuries, or restrictions you may have. Classes are taught by a qualified Physiotherapist and Pilates Instructor.

The classes will focus on strength, flexibility and co-ordination of movement, helping to improve posture, alignment and breathing. Equipment such as Swiss balls and resistance bands may be used to help and/or challenge you more. Pilates is never a competition with anyone else, it's important to listen to your body and do what feels good for you during the class.

Once you have registered, you will receive a consent form and health questionnaire to complete via email. Please complete the form online and return ASAP. if you have any medical issues, the instructor may be in tough to discuss these prior to class. 

Please wear comfy clothing, and bring some warm socks, water and a mat - Pilates mats are thicker that yoga mats and will be more comfortable when lying on the floor.
